good starter guns
Can anyone recommend me any good gun in the $100 range.

Echo 1 or JG will do fine.
CYMA CM .028 is a bit cheaper, still decent enough though.

Some of the newer CYMA's are actually either on-par or better than ECHO1, they are a bit more expensive but are full metal and some are real wood. Their AK's shoot 400FPS.

UTG L96 shoot 400+ fps. But when you look at how they actually shoot....
All they do is stick the biggest spring they can to up fps. Which is one of the least important aspects.. But it appeals to the uninformed
I was actually considering getting a CYMA AK and see how it goes. Especially considering how cheap it is. If the full metal & wood ones are cheap enough, I would get them. I don't care how they perform since I plan on changing that anyway. AK parts are probably 2nd in abundance of parts, only second to m4.
