com-link system
[b]Alright. It's about time our team looked into a professional set of radio/headset communication systems. Last summer i spent almost 200 dollars on cheap radios and headset only for them to break or get lost (*cough jon*). I'm thinking about making it mandatory for all of those on the spec-ops squad to be equipped with these. I'm tired of not having any tactics or communication at all, and I know it will have a tremendous effect on not only our performance, but will give the game the competive/fun edge we've been longing for.
The only problem is...I have no idea where to look for these, and which companies to trust, but my guess is, prices will be approx. 100 dollars apiece.
...this is a forum, so before i make any decisions, lets just talk this over, but i think this could be a tremendous asset to the team

cellphones with headsets? Cheap n easy. Im pretty sure everyone gets free weekends. Biggest problem will probably only be dropped calls and bad reception. Don't need to keep swapping around, plus you can just keep it in the pocket, so nothing will be lost. Easy alternative for until we get something hardcore

I don't get free calls ever, and I think it would be easier to just use radios. You can get 2 multi channel radios at Joes sporting goods for $20.

im talking a whole team on one channel, not just 3 people, considering cell phones can only do a max of 3 way calling.
and cameron, as far as radio sets go, i already said, i have purchased cheap radio sets ($20-$50) and they always break down and the headsets they come with are shit. I'm looking for high quality not just a quick fix.

you should have Kelvin pm the url to me or somthing, because i want to make it a mandatory piece of equipment for our squad.
Re: com-link system
I know someone selling about 30 radios for $135 and are PERFECT but I don't know if he will sell to civilians yet, I will reply if he will.
Re: com-link system
From what I can remember, a lot of radios were lost because people just kept handing em off to each other and everyone forgot who had it last when it got lost.
That and we don't need a radio for every single member. It's pretty rare when every single member of the team is separated from each other. Plus radio traffic is gonna be hella jammed when everyone is whispering "and the pickles.." over the comm....

Re: com-link system
I was referring to the Dane Cook joke about the drive through where the chick keeps repeating "..and the pickles..." and then goes "chicken tenders.....sweet and sour sauce all over my pussy/body(some versions are edited)"
I thought you were referencing the same joke
