Match Types...

So i wanna brainstorm some different game types other than the standard team vs team.

just to get the ball rolling i know of a game type called zombies

-2 teams on opposite sides of the field, but when you die, you go to another designated side of the field (preferably away from action) and become a "zombie" zombies then wait until their forces accumulate and go fight both teams in attempt to win.

free for all
respwans
VIP
zombies
capture the flag
medic rounds
escape rounds
bunker assult

okay...well i know those, but what about like mixing certain aspects of certain match types to create like a new one??

Just regular team vs team has proved to be best time after time.

I think two flag is the best form of airsoft(with respawns)

how how some actual tactical stuff...aka SINGLE FIRE ONLY match...making for the person to have to use duck and cover better and make it more about aiming and such than running and gunning.

that sounds pretty tight to me...maybe we can demo some of these on the 3rd just to see how they work.

yeah seriously i like carters ideas lets be fucking creative here instead of stupid boring ass team v team...just trying to find other ppl and hit them with tiny plastic bbs is gay...unless its got some motive like capture the flag...single fire brings it in a bit makes it more tactical...zombies is creative. with team v team u just see the person and shoot at them while trying not to get hit theres nothing to defend and such

The whole game is not going to be just single fire, auto is fun and makes it intense

i hope i have time to participate in the may 3 one...my AP gov test is monday so i got some rest and studying to do haha

If anything, spend some time to create an actual scenario with more than just one objective. Remember junkyard wars? Each side had at least 3 objectives. One was to get an item, you use the item to destroy a target. After, there was like chase down the VIP and secure the area or something like that.

Just take something from some video games or something, like Americas Army, or COD4. Create a purpose for the things you are doing.

well the first two parts sounded cool the last is ilogical the may 3rd one is around a rich neighboorhood if anything we will have the cops all over are asses...last thing we need is to drive around in a truck with airsoft guns lol...however it would be quite fun

honestly to pull off a event like that we will need alot more people to come this next event is going to be a 30+ game and i will try to pull it off but it wll not be as fun cause you need people n your team defending attacking and the defending team will prob complain the whole time

lol if were doing single fire then i think it should be just team deathmatch

Defending team will probably need an objective too, like take the assaulting teams VIP or something.

iam talking about the offensive team having multiple ob and then one part of the group defends like in jk wars , they see no action

well we can try to plan out objs where where everyone does something.
Say like a small group of team 1 being atked by a large force of team 2. The small group has to survive and regroup with the rest of team 1, then go off to secure area for dustoff. Team 2 has to attack to prevent them from doing so. Just throwing out ideas.

I think a game of zombies would be a Legit game.. I think it would be something different and pretty fun, we should try it.

dude that plane scenario at junkyard wars i had to defend the fucking codes it was hella boring while everyone else was pushing forward, i saw no action

So, Vernon and I got to the field during the last match.. at like 10:45. I mostly just showed him around and we cut some new trails and stuff. We got bored and decided to do a game of Sniper vs. his machine gun. It was way bomb. So what I was thinking was that we should do a game of snipers and a couple guys with machine guns vs. everyone else. Something new, we should try it.

lol, ya, that plane one. Our team was fucking owning so a couple guys and me just went up to the front lines. But read my last post, do you think that could work?
