Re: Match Types...
its too expensive unless we do a lot more night games. If anything we should play in a much smaller place for night games. It worked well for me.

Somthing I found online
THE JAIL GAME
An area is designated as the jail. It is exactly half way between the two team's starting points. If any player, of any team, is eliminated, he must immediately move to the jail. He will remain in the jail until one of his team mates enters the jail and tags him. Once he is tagged, he is instantly alive, he is able to return fire, be hit again, or even tag other members of his team. He must make an attempt to leave the jail as soon as possible.
An eliminated player in the jail may call out for a rescue or say anything he wants in this game. The only time a "live" player may enter the jail is specifically to rescue one or more of his own players. No player may purposely shoot through the jail at any time. At times a large flow of cross-fire through the jail may occur accidentally and players must be cautioned never to remove their goggles, even partially, while in the jail. The game is won by eliminating the other team, collecting them in the jail, leaving no one to come to the rescue.
Strategies: This game is usually won, or lost, in the first thirty seconds of the game. Which ever team controls the jail, can rescue their own players, and meanwhile prevent the opposition from rescuing theirs. If your team controls the jail, you will always be out in full-force while the opposition will start to accumulate in the jail. Once the jail has been secured, detachments can be sent out to hunt down the remaining opposition players still at large.

Re: Match Types...
quick suggestion, but its about the same as the last one I said. 1 smaller team 1 big team. Smaller team is split, trying to survive, going to a specific point calling for evac. Use flare for signal, the rest of the team then comes in and escorts the small team out of there in a pre designated evac and dustoff. Team 2 is free to put pressure on evac point and guard after the rescue team goes off to get the small team.

I like this idea. but it is sort of unclear as to what team 2's objective is in relation to assisting smaller team 1. for example, maybe once they reach the point a timer is set for 10 minutes, as team 2 establishes a defensive in order to protect team 1.
just an idea...
and we need to implement more medic rounds into our games
Re: Match Types...
i lkie the idea but it seems like big team will just camp evac so maybe small team is the only one who knows where evac is so big tiime is kept busy trying to cover all everything making it alot more realistic.

Re: Match Types...
Ya, the best I could come up with is that team 2 can only guard evac after the rescue team is out and about already. But whatever works.

Airsoft Game Types
Preferably i like the game types that are more like defending a position. The defending team is set up at a defensible but not impenetrable position. They have 5-10 minutes to set up defenses any way they like but must not stray from their defending position. After the 5-10 min the other team can either rush to catch them off guard or send in scouts to try to formulate the best attack plan. Rules about killing are that you can either play one life or you can play the way that i personally like. I like to play so that if you feel you got shot so that it would halt your advance in real life you have to move back to your prior position. On the defensive side if you get hit you must move one peice of cover back. The only thing bad about this way is that it is based a lot on the honor system to say that you were hit. When you play with fall- back respawns you would most likely have a time limit of 30-60 minutes this way the game would not be a sniper only battle.

New Airsoft Match Types
I saw you guys talking about "night ops" airsofting and would just like to say that one of my personal favorites at night is an all pistol match (any type) with small teams of up to 4 people. The area cannot be very large and should be focused entirely on stealth. I have played games like this where it is so dark that you can walk into people. My friend actually did walk into me and I shot him from like 3 ft away in the neck LOLOLOLOL. ALso you can play where you have a miniture flashlight in your pocket or a laser pointer that you can point at people to point them out or to distract them while your teammate does a tactical move.

Re: Match Types...

Maybe i wasnt clear u dont wait for them to come to you, both teams try to kill each other. The difference is that it is much more stealth oriented and requires patience, timing, and trickery. You play it with one life so u have to be careful

Re: Match Types...
Your resupply has gone pear-shaped as Crab-Air has missed again. You must find the supply canisters and return them to your base. The rude men in black hats will try to stop you. This scenario can be made harder if some (indeed lots) of your ammunition is in those canisters.
